A Year Like No Other…
Thanks to our clients, employees, and friends of the firm, Scott and Company successfully made it through the 2020 year. With the COVID–19 Pandemic came many challenges for us all. The safety of our clients’ and staff was, and still is, our number one priority and so we made changes. Our office was temporarily closed while procedures were put in place to help keep us safe, but because great service is also of the utmost importance, our staff continued to work diligently. Our tax practice continued to communicate with clients through various means— which sometimes meant out on the sidewalks of our office building. Our audit practice continued to serve their clients by performing audit services remotely. A couple of the highlights of the year…we celebrated 25 years in business and we were recognized for the nineth year in a row in the Best Places to Work in South Carolina program for small and medium-size businesses. This recognition is particularly gratifying since recognition is 75% based on employee comments. And then there is you! Without you there would be no firm. We appreciate and thank you for allowing us to manage your accounting needs—we are here to help, and we are always looking for ways to better serve you.
